This is a work in progress. This is an example of a
cgi script that accesses a MySql database through the use of html forms.
It is a very good nutrition calculator to determine the overall quality
of foods.
Design Your own Computer is a quote program I put together to make online quotes for the sale of computers. I wrote this program so that all one has to do is update the pricelist as a spreadsheet, and then click on the posting program. The posting program creates the html form, ftp's the form and other information to update the website. It is a semi intelligent program and can adjust to several types of changes to the spreadsheet. Welcome to my homepage. I am accumulating a portfolio of some of the projects I have been involved in here. Gyrus is the name of the computer services store I operated in Lillooet for 5 years. It was a complete services store, where one could find all the solutions to your computer problems. I currently work in the computer IT field, I work on network administration, computer hardware and software, repair, configuration, and my favourite is programming. There is a wonderful satisfaction to viewing ones work on a computer, especially when the bugs are removed and it is stable, and productive. I have worked on all the MS Windows family, Mac, Novell Netware, Linux, QNX rtos, and Amiga operating systems. I have built large networks in NT and Netware, and have built two Isp providers, one in WinNT and the other in Linux. Most of my programming was on the Amiga, at the time it was the only practical preemptive multitasking OS around, I developed several shareware programs in C, basic and E. At that time I became very appreciative of inter process messaging and orbs. At present my language of choice is a new scripting language Called Rebol. It is a very refreshing new approach to high level programming with messaging being the heart. This was taken in August 2000, It was a fun helicopter ride to the ridge, and an excruciatingly difficult 13 hour walk through blowdown trees back home.
